DPS - 84 Against Cyber Bullying
AWARENESS PROGRAMS BY DPS - 84
Awareness has become a very important part of our daily life and it is one of the main solutions to any problems whether it be human trafficking or cyber bullying. Being aware of something and understanding it deeply and briefly is one of the key features to alarm people around you and follow the DPS motto "Service before self".
IMPLEMENTATION OF AWARENESS IN DPS - 84
DPS not only says about taking actions, but it also takes actions within itself. DPS sector - 84 conducted many awareness drives within the school that consisted of showing videos to the students about the process of bullying.
Other than this, DPS also made a policy through which teachers frequently taught students about the facts, solutions, thefts, consequences and reasons of cyber bullying and bullying.
Not only this, but, DPS has also created complaint boxes through which students can tell about the problems they are facing related to bullying, harassment and anything related to studies without providing their identity if the problem is personal or related to exploitation.
DPS - 84 is also actively implementing assemblies, functions and presentation on stages through which teachers explain their students collectively that how to overcome bullying.
DPS - 84 also organized a workshop last year through which students were allowed to ask any questions related to cyber bullying or bullying from a single person who was operating online. This was an inter DPS workshop, and each student got a chance to clear his/her doubts.
WHAT STUDENTS HAVE LEARNED
As per a fruit of this hard work made by DPS - 84, students have learnt that how is cyber bullying done, what are the types of bullying, what actually cyber bullying is, what are the effects of cyber bullying, what should a bullied student/person do, what are the solutions to bullying, who is a bully, what are the purposes of a bully, how a person becomes a bully, how a person gets bullied and much more. I as a student of DPS has learnt many things from MY SCHOOL starting from good/bad touch to blogging. DPS provides opportunity to everyone, believes in actions more than talking, promotes self confidence in students, believes in friendliness, gives a path of support to every single one of its members and maintains not only academics but also physical education (SPORTS).
